Terms of Service
Last updated: September 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MailLite (the "Service"), operated by Mail-Lite (Adem Lambert) ("we", "us"). By using MailLite, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What MailLite is
MailLite is an email client that lets you connect your own Google account and read and manage the messages in that mailbox through the MailLite interface. You may only connect accounts that you own or are authorized to access.
2. Your responsibilities
- You must only connect a Google account that belongs to you or that you have explicit permission to use.
- You are responsible for keeping your own devices and credentials secure.
- You agree not to use MailLite for any unlawful purpose or to access accounts or data you are not authorized to access.
- You agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service.
3. Google account access
MailLite accesses your Google data only with the permissions you grant through Google's OAuth consent screen, and only to provide the features described on our site. Our handling of that data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can revoke MailLite's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page or from within MailLite.
4. Availability
We aim to keep MailLite available and working, but we provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailLite is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mail-Lite (Adem Lambert) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
7. Termination
You may stop using MailLite and disconnect your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
